Here, you will find essential information on rate limiting and IP whitelisting to protect your integrations and ensure secure transactions.
Rate Limit
Rate limiting is a technique used to control the number of requests a client can make to the API within a specified time period, ensuring fair usage and preventing abuse. The i-payout API enforces rate limiting on API requests to ensure reliable service quality for all clients.
Time | Calls |
---|---|
Second | 50 calls |
Minute | 2000 calls |
Hour | 30000 calls |
IP Allowed list
i-payout ensures the security of API calls by allowing or restricting IP addresses. This limits i-payout to accepting and processing only API calls from a trusted server. i-payout allows IPs for each merchant account during the onboarding process.
Adding a new IP
To add an IP to your allowed list, you need to follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the Admin Portal.
- Go to System > Merchant API Setup.
- Select the Whitelist IP Address tab.
